Glovebox removal is only 4/5 torx screws iirc :y

Thanks Doc. Having removed the glove box I see a pink lever, but no fag packet black box. Mine seems to lever into a duct. Also it resists pulling off. Any thoughts?

With engine running that pink lever moves when I turn the temperature knob from low to high, so I can imagine it turns a flap inside the vent to divert air flow.

If it's moving then that suggests that it's working :-\

If you pull the centre console trim below the glove box and disconnect the lever and move it manually... Any resistance on it? If yes, then you might be looking at another heater matrix, or at least removing that one to investigate the flap...

Personally, I would pop the trim back in and get it MoTd before spending any more time on it.

Once Motd, you can either tinker to your hearts content or swap it. Mot history suggests that it won't need much, if anything, but it's obviously worth more (financially and to you) with one :y
