Title: Automated email issues

Just trying to work out how big this issue is.

The forum often sends out automated emails if you have configured your profile - things like notifications of PMs etc, or watched threads.  It would appear some of these are not getting through.

I have deleted your vote - I should have made clear its the first hop email provider you use for this forum, not necessarily your ISP....

OK, just tried a modification, need to wait a few hours for dns to proporgate  >:(

funny thing is i always got email notifications....

Then they stopped for about 3 months..

Then they started again about 2 weeks ago  :o

im with wanadoo / orange.

Yeah, that was a different (but similar) issue with Wanadoo/Freeserve/Orange

Its a never ending job introducing workarounds for all these crap ISPs that implement stupid policies because they don't want to run proper spam filters.

Not using ISP spam filter - using may own - popfile

Not using ISP spam filter - using may own - popfile
Some ISPs are dropping lots of mails for you, before your filter even gets a look in...

Mine appears to be going again: Pipex..

Actually.. surely my ISP makes no difference?  My registration email was with gmail / googlemail.. either way, its going again :y
