Took the Mega Mig out for bit of drive today
« on: 04 December 2010, 15:56:20 »

Thought I'd post up a couple of photos of the Omega toy that I've bought couple of months back.

Ex Police Themes Valley 3.2 Auto.

Love driving the v6 and listening to the sound of it bubbling a long in town traffic  ::) .

Needs one or two little jobs to get it looking really good cosmetically, including a wash as it's actually meant to look white in colour, unlike how it's come out in the photos.

Plans: Cambelt kit, removal of secondary oil cooler as think it's over cooling the oil for normal non-police use.  Drivers wing & bonnet replacement, front seats changed for some sports seats, centre console colour coded to match cars colour.  And a few other custom changes along the way  ::)  :y .

Already collecting a few bits ready to change over, soon as the weather starts to get better.
And looking forward to getting some of the work done for the some 'meetings' next year ;) .

No, it's not been lowered.  Bit of photo wizardry on my part.  Though saying that, there are plans to lower the car by 40mm.
Not sure what brand of spring & shocks at the moment, though Eibach springs & koni shocks may by on the shopping list if funds can stretch that far ?.

Thanks for the comments though  :y.

PS one for the Admins: how come the thumbs up smiley hasn't got a Xmas hat ?  ::)
