HELP!! I need to get the new type oil filter off
« on: 18 June 2009, 13:35:02 »

Could somebody please tell me how to remove the new type oil filter container?
I need to remove the pipes to the oil cooler.

I have managed to remove the outer cover and filter.
What is the casing held on the block with?
What tools do need to get it off with?

Inside the housing is a bolt assembly, its either a large hex or an allen key type(two different types)

Thanks Mark for your quick reply.
Have you got any idea of the sizes they might be?
I need to go and borrow the suitable tools from work.

Thanks for the replies, I've got it off. Found a 12mm allen key in my late fathers tool box.
