I have not made even one change to it in all these years - exactly as it came from VX.

Was the irmsher kit a mega expensive optional extra from Vauxhall? Saw one of these in the flesh for the first time last week. Look better than they do in the pictures.

I see it parked there in that bay when getting home off the train when been working up town, have to be honest have given it a good look over one evening, very nice indeed expecially the sill trim down the sides.

I have been doing the London journey for so long that I have had Parking Bay No.1 for about 7 years now maybe more. Even the Service Manager of the VX dealer got a question from friends at a dinner party recently who said they have seen a zupped up Omega at Farnborough Station and does he know the owner? - which he does of course!! Thing is it is actually a standard car albeit irmscher.

Mine gets washed once a month whether it likes it or not. Silver is a great colour for avoiding the need to clean.

I have a black car which is a pain in the ass for looking dirty - but looks fantastic when clean - much better than silver
