Which alternator?
« on: 16 March 2010, 17:30:32 »

Having finally diagnosed the bearing noise on my '99 2.5v6 CDX miggy, as coming from the shot alternator bearings.
I am not sure what to get as there are 70 amp, 100 amp and 120 amp versions. Guess with all the kit on board I need a higher rated one but not sure which rating?

Why not just change the bearings?  ::)  http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1153772945

Thanks didn't think of that - SKF look good not the cheapest but still under a tenner for both.
