Post by: Westcoast on 11 November 2015, 21:13:40
Hey guys i,m back and after bmw and audi wich ones ended up with crash and one with engine crank i decided to pick omega again.
So little bit searching i found one and took it home. 8)

Manual gearbox
Sports black leather interior
Clima
Rain sensor
Tinted factory backlights
Seat heaters
Esp
Cruise controller
Navigation
Coloured full screen display
Sunroof electric+ seems factory tinted glass
Ebesbärcher
ESP
Back window heater+ mirrors
Front window heater
Electric seat setting up+down only no memory
Parking sensors back

Transit: 170 452km how fair it is im not sure but if i look interior+ steering wheel seems that 300k that aint seen so i hope thats not wounded back.

Also had quite new looking summer tires on 16" rims, but well winter are close so bought new wither tires also.

Bringed in from germany, roadworthiness test went thru cleanly also service book.

Engine works so softly and quietly.

Plans are big like bigger rims, irmscher bumpers, back lip, geting windows tinted, xenons and littlebit more perhaps.

Some pics after buying + registration

Yep that,s that BMW R6 wich ones are on 530 diesels, everything are same only smaller turbo+ car "brain" littlebit moded to make it low power, but as i found out lately i can fit 3.0 turbo on that opel 1:1 so if somehow this turbo dies i prolly will buy bmw 530 one :y

aslo 25.11 will get opel windows tinted 8)

Did 390km trip last weekend 90% road and 10% city.

But usually it,s about 7,5l/100km if i drive more in city, ofcourse depends how much you press pedal tho if u speed alot and press it hard and hard then ofcourse u can get it up to 8 tho :D ;D

Tinted factory backlights
ESP
Front window heater

Please do correct me if I'm wrong but these above three things it unfortunately does not have, sorry  :y

ESP was only fitted to the very last 2,6/3,2 V6 engined cars. Does your car have a button with "skidding car" or just "TC"?

Tinted taillights, not from factory but possibly by Irmscher?

Front window heater, never ever has been an option to any Omega. Not even in any GM -built car in that era.

Anyway, very lovely car you have, loaded with all the possible extras and very low mileage for a diesel :y

Let me correct you. The last Opel Omegas are with facroty tinded backlights, not Irmscher. There is a Front heated
window, even heated steering wheel on the Design Editions. DTI Versions have ESP and most of them even have LSD.   :y :y

Lovely car mate!

I stand corrected then. But I would love to see some evidence on the factory fit heated windscreen and steering wheel. Neither are known by EPC nor TIS mentions anything. The blueish screen on some Omegas is just sun reflective, not heated. And the steering wheel heated...well, I will be waiting for the confirmation. Spec sheet, TIS or EPC screenshot, pics from the original wiring on car what ever will do  :y Still, if OP's car was an estate I would love to have it  :D :y

So little picture from lights now, also some button pictures.
Daylights are much better now than before, that old ugly "pee" yellow colour was so bad that didn,t show actually nothing.

So, ESP you do have indeed. But no heated windscreen. That windscreen- button is only for the "standard" setup defrosting by air as in every car since somewhere in the sixties. Nor is there any button for heated steering wheel.

Quite an enhancement in lights with nightbreakers installed.

Agreed, ESP was available on late euro models, but heated front screen and heated steering wheel were never options on an Omega.
