Seriously though, mine was a 1995 with IR. deffo with tech 2 as the guy had sold his tech 1.

Had an original fob reprogrammed on my early elite, pretty sure he used tech 2.
Not the same type that Martin repairs.

I freed off the front caliper on a neighbours seldom used Rover 400 a few months ago and it's now seized again so went on good old eBay and got a complete new caliper for £22.
