Electrical Warnign Light/Speedo Issues
« on: 12 August 2008, 22:31:48 »

Evening guys, small problem developing on my mv6, intermittently the speedo stops working and the TC and ABS warning lights come on, occasionally feels like loss of power steering at slow speed too.

Anyone any ideas as to the source of the problem and solutions etc.

Much appreciated.

Yes, I'm guessing its a 1998 or later?

You're not going to like it though - ABS ECU, can be refurbed for £125 with a 1 week turnaround, but its a bitch to remove

As above - ABS ECU breaked.  Can replace with second hand unit from scrapper (part about £45) - you need to get one ideally from same year/model.  Rsol of a job to swap.  Good luck with it.
