Is there a wire on another part of the loon that's working and use that feed if theres a break in the flexible connection from the mirror electrics or something?
Ok so out of curiosity I unplug the motor and switch and connected to the other loom then plug into the door still the same so I imagine the problem is in the flexible connection
The blue and red and grey and green are likely to be where a fault is as the window opens from drivers side also everything else on the door works and switch does light light up the two wires spit to the motor and switch
Thankyou for your help it's very much appreciated it's the front passenger side it operates drivers side fine I have a spare loom I have untaped it to trace wires the red /blue and green grey split on to other parts of the door
Ok so got new passenger switch still not working can someone please tell me if I get a meter tomorrow how do I test if the wires are getting power to them there are 5 on the plug or do I test from the circuit board please help no sarcastic comments please also even though it operates from drivers side could it be the window motor not communicate with the switch
Having issues with passenger window switch works from drivers side but won't work with passenger side switch tried new loom still the same, got a drivers side switch coming tomorrow I hope, as apparently it may not be closing the circuit completely in turn not allowing the passenger switch to work
So I've ordered a drivers side window and mirror switch, spoke to a couple of auto electricians and they said possibly the circuit is not closing which in turn is not allowing you to operate the window with the passenger side switch, lights up and works with drivers switch it's a puzzle I give you that, has anyone else had this issue? + any advice would be appreciated Thanks darren
Different size plugs rear are flat connection front is square, apparently it Could be the drivers side is not closing the circuit, does this sound viable before I purchase another switch thanks darren
