Title: 2nd time oil cooler cracks, possible solutions!

hello all,
i have been reading alot about replacing the oil cooler with air2oil cooler, but i got an other idea,
how about bio fuel heat exchanger,

the quistion here is what hose from this omega complicated cooling system.

I would be wary of using that for oil as it may not cope with the flow rate or pressure of the oil system (5 or 6 bar or so on a cold engine with thick oil).

However, you can get a device called a Laminova which will do what you want. http://www.thinkauto.com/laminova.htm.

What is the problem with the standard oil cooler though? They seem to work Ok if coolant changes are kept regular.

Can't understand why you would want to change the Oil Cooler .... granted the earlier ones need changing to the newer Stainless ones but that should be it?
Have you fitted yours wrong?
