Hi all, fireworks going mad, people everywhere, alchohol ban in the streets and every bar is rammed... MC's and DJ's making very loud music and more pissed youngsters than I've ever seen in my life !!
Feeling rather old for this place, they reckon 30,000 people have poured into Queenstown just for tonight !!!
So, Happy New Year from a KOS in New Zealand, hope you all enjoy yourselves :)

Any breakless retards setting off fireworks in their back gardens come midnight tonight will be added to the cull list. I mean, WTF is that all about. Its oppsing antisocial, yet seems to be becoming the norm now.

Completely agree. I have to get up for work at 0610, but the brainless cretins will be letting off fireworks until 1am.
If it was remotely legal to shoot them in front of their families, I would miss a nights sleep and have myself some good sport. >:(

I was hoping it would piss down, but it makes no difference, they’ll just set them off tomorrow. There’s a shop down the road which opens up each year in October to sell ‘Mega blast bombs’, ‘Super earthquakes’ and the like. I’ve often wondered what kind of display we’d get if that place accidentally caught fire.

They were letting rockets off from empty Vodka bottles in the street (after consuming the contents, of course!). Great fun. ;D
