Far better and less messy taking it to SOS and letting them do it while you drink coffee in the town  :D

Yup. Thinking the same, always a faff as you cannot get the car that high. Also avoids your hair smelling of ATF for a week.

He could investigate my clonk on back ends as well, roundabouts turn either way sometimes get a clonk on offside rear.  :-\

Also really needs two people, one to change through the gears to prime them while t'other pumps ATF in

Replaced and inspected exhaust rubbers, all good there. Diff mounts could be possible, easy way to test on ramps?

Take one off and see how many pieces it's in, if ok replace and take the other one off and see if that's in more than one piece!

Or talk someone into doing it more locally... Maybe buy a pair from a breaker and see if NickW or can help.

Improvise with resin or silicone  :y

Best way to access is back onto ramps, support (not lift) the diff then undo one mount from the chassis member. If it drops it's toast. Refit and repeat on other mount.

If they're properly dead, you'll know as the mount frame falls off.

Whilst on ramps, the donuts can also be checked with a pry bar :y

Cheers. Bolts only should just drop out then? Trying to remember from last rear spring change I did, how they came off.

Thanks for polish link, £130 for 4 though. Plus postage.

Two bolts hold each one, like a collar design
