Title: WIM - Anyone been there recently?
Post by: tunnie on 30 December 2018, 22:24:46
Used to be best place, for tyres and geo setup.

Is it still worth the trek?

Took the project there a couple of months back, if you book for certain days Tony Bones will do the geo for you :)

...and Yes, despite the trek, I wouldn't go anywhere else, have used others in the past, but when you see the attention to perfection that Tony puts into the setup then you know every penny is well spent. Just a little blast down chicken shit canyon proves it!

Not geo'd the 3.2 for about 6 years.  :o

Still wearing evenly, new boots worth a Geo though. Probably when I replace the fronts.

Thanks, when booking will ask if Tony will do it.

Is there still an OOF discount?

Do they still have franchised locations and are they any good?

I believe they stopped the franchise thing as it was too difficult to maintain their reputation.

For those in sunny Essex, Tyre-Smart of Witham have a Hunter set-up and do a pretty decent job, as Albs will confirm - and they offer Trade Prices for OOF members!  :y :y

I was there on Thursday, with the black pussy.

PM wheels-inmotion here, or for a quicker response, PM Tony on his forum.
