Yeah fired her up and took it for a drive.  No strange noises just the nice v6 note. Happy as a pig in shite!  8-)

I hang my head in shame guys!  ::) I used the ratchet to pull the tensioner across, how simple!

The bolt that hold the tensioner pulley in place seems loose, it moves back and forward.

I have undone the nut on the tensioner but its still very tight.

Ok im doing something wrong here, is it the top left tensioner thats spring loaded?

It pretty tight trying to get this belt on.

o found it how, easy enough job.  Now to get the belt back on, am i right in saying one of the tensioners is spring loaded

I have removed the pulley.  How do i go about opening it to get at the bearing?

Noticed a noise this morning coming from one of the fan belt tensionser on the front of the engine, it seems to only make the noise when a gear is selected or when the car is moving slowly.  Do these need replaced or can they be lubricated?  :)

If they need changed i might as well do the belt as well.

Any idea how much tensioners cost.

I had a 2000 Vectra 2.5 v6 sri (167bhp?) before i bought the omega, both cars standard.  The omega is faster 0-60 and top end but the vectra was a better handling car.

There seems to be 2 fans that kick in seperatly on my omega the one at the front and another that seems to be positioned around the passenger side which is really loud.   

Whats the second fan for?  :-/
