Can anyone tell me, When I lock my car with key or fob are the indicators supposed to flash? Mein don't. if they should flash how do I sort out this problem?

Omega General Help / Where does this belong ???

Hi, I've just bought a P reg 1997 2,5 TD select estate a few weeks back, there is a couple of problems what shouldnt be a pain ie new thermastat.

My question is There is a Vacume pipe coming from the heater matrixs and just hanging around, and I cant find anywhere to put it. I never had the diesel before so I havent got a clue. Lol. Am I right by thinking the BMW engine doesnt have a HBV?.
 Can anyone tell me where it belongs please, there is a couple of pics for it below.

It is a 2,5 TD so I know Diesels arnt as fast as petrols but this one seems to be very slow as my wifes 17 year old 1,4ltr astra leaves me standing, Is this normal ?

Any help or tips would be great.

I have a 2,0 N Reg ( 1996 ) Omega,

I have two questions

1, How the do I get the back plate off ? Ie the hub, what tools do I need, and how does it go back in

2, Where can I get a new one and what is the price for it.

Its the Rear pass, side.

Any tipps welcome.

Hi guys, My problem is I have water inside my Car on the Drivers side front and rear foot room.
What are the main causes please?
 My heater matrix is ok, and the windows are shut. there seems to be more water in the rear foot room. are there any plugs or such what could cause this?

I have a problem with my heater, its a 98 R reg 2,5 cdx the display shows   --   when i turn it off, it will not blow on the windscreen and the temp is just a bit higher than cold, does anyone have an idea where I can look to solve this problem?

So I've just got myself an R reg 2,5 cdx stick.
it has a few probs but the main thing is,
the car has normal running temperature but the heating inside the car is cold even on Hi fan 9,
is that the hbv or something else?

Omega General Help / Lack of power

I drive a 3.0 v6 elite auto 95 plate.
I have done the paperclip test, no codes everything works fine the car runs ok. BUT it seems to lack in power, ie foot down it does not seem to pull off as it should.
any Ideas what it could be?

Help Can anyone please tell me what this part is called??  :-/The MOT uncle said its a "Steering pivot point" Iwould say its a "Center tie rod idler" what is the correct name please. I need a new one for MOT as it has excessive play.                                              Sorry that I nicked this picture but I couldnt find anotherone.

Omega General Help / Loss of power at 3500 rpm

Hi to all,
 My 3.0 V6 1995 auto has two problems.  :-/                                                                                                                                               The 1st is it only idels at 450 - 500 rpm dont matter what i do.
2nd at 3500 rpm the engion stutters and i have no power under that it pulls like a beast. Ive changed the plugs so thats not it.
 Ive just had the car now for 3 weeks and im gladd i have an omega back. ( my first was a 2ltr 8v opel omega, got nicked and burnt out.)
I would be very happy for any tips you may have.

Im new here to the OOF.
Just got a 1995 V6 3,0 elite. ( swaped it for a rover 600( mug)) It needed new plugs and a crank sensor and now runs sweet as a nut. ( Thanks to your help in the forum) I have to go to MOT on Tue so keep your fingers crossed. I dont think theres anything but you all Know the MOT. well Im lookig forward to working with you all

Thanks for all the warm welcome meseges. ( Feels good to be welcomed like that) Like I said I have just got an 3,0 Elite after a long time Having to do without , well ive now worked out how to get photos placed so heres a couple of pics. ( Dont laugh I Know it needs work done on the Body But first is the technic in the front line.)http://i626.photobucket.com/albums/tt347/acdcdave/omega1.jpg[/img]                                                          I will get some new photos made when I start on the body work. Hello and Welcome,
You need to bleed your brakes mate, better to change all the fluid. who knows how long its been in there.
as for your dash lights, that could be a foulty bulb try putting a new one in and see if its the same. mine stays light evan at 120mph no change at all.
