General Car Chat / Cambelt changed

Changed my first V6 cambelt today, got all the kit from Andy C, no markings on the new belt which meant it took a bit longer to get it right, but I got there in the end, top idler arrow is at about 10 0 clock and bottom idler arrow is at about 1 O clock tensioner is spot on, cambelt CD was a real help, watched it before I started and only had to refer to it again to check the torque settings. Many thanks OOF.

Omega General Help / Engine cutting out

Started car tonight and drove 7 miles, engine cut out, would not restart, plenty of battery, had this problem on several occasions, if I just wait for about 10 minutes it starts again OK and runs normally, any help would be appreciated.

Darth Loo-knee has once again performed his magic, on my Omega, new cam belt kit, water pump, aux belt, oil cooler fitted, cleaned out the breathers, fresh anti-freeze and a cracking night in a local pub. His Neil Diamond was good on the karaoke but the Rick Astley music that he was listening to whilst working on my car was driving me nuts.
I am very pleased with the work he did and hope we meet again in the future.
