There was a chopper one as well, cant remember the name, iirc there were 4 super mopends, the SS50 the Fizzie the Garelli and the chopper, it was a while before other joined in. Thery were all good for at leat 50mph though, much safer than the 30mph they can go now.

I am proud to say that I have never ridden on any two-wheeled motorised vehicle, not do I intend to start now!

Mind you, the landlord of the Italian holiday apartment we're off to in August says that the traffic there is dreadful at the weekends and has recommended a couple of scooter hire companies.  

I'm not quite sure which mental image is more hilarious - me trying to drive a Lambretta or the lady wife perched on the pillion.      :-/

yes the yamaha FS1-E. brings back some good memories. you had freedom to go where you wanted, it was great.

Oh happy days, my mate had a 3.0L E my dad had an ex Police 3.0l GT I borowed it a few times, you can guess the rest.
