vec b dti issue after front springs changed
« on: 03 June 2014, 22:49:56 »

as above, got a few jobs done last sat at the garage i normally use, just for mot time coming up, front springs, inner cv boot and steering rack boots. sat night i noticed when going over speed bumps in asda a strange "banging" spring sort of noise from pass side - the spring end doesnt seem to be sitting hard against the tooth bit in the seat on the shocky, not sure if thats any consequence ? and a knocking from the driver side which i can feel and hear when driving at lower speeds (its almost the exact same to the issue i had about 2 months ago which was the pass side track rod end).

any suggestions

cheers

Check the spring clamp nuts are tight at the top of the strutt (you will need to remove the retaining plate nut and plate to get to them)
