EGR soot - fine on it's own
Oil breathers/turbo oil - fine on their own

Yes, was going to fit that (identical between Omega and Zafira), but swirl flap actuator had gone faulty.  Still, the cleaning only took about an hours :)

Having yours to hand did help us find where the bolts were though ;D

I have never seen anything that bad, I am still somewhat suspicious of the MAF
As was I, but I think first port of call today is to see why the turbo ain't provide much boost at 3000rpm when I plugged in Tech2 earlier ::)

Wastegate actuator freed off today, in the warm, dry confines of chrisgixer's garage (thanks chrisgixer, and thanks to Mrs CG for breakkie, complete with smiley faces, that made my day :D).

Boost readings 'better' on standstill Tech2 tests, but still poor.

Swapped boost pressure sensor for one that VXL V6 gave me, readings marginally better, but still poor (1.3bar at 3k rpm).

Gave it a run, miles, miles better now the turbo is able to spool up at lower revs.  Quite drivable in fact, but I reckon still a bit down on power.

How long does the smell of split diesel around the engine last, as it still reeks of the stuff - while I had undertray off earlier, did try to mop up all that I could see.

Ta. I think that SWMBO's Astra must've had similar problems though the car was written off before I got to the bottom of it.

Somewhere I have a DTi MAF, if I can find it I'll be passing yours a couple of times this week.
