Fixed at lunchtime, then put all the electricity back in. Just taken it for a spin, and put more go-go juice in it.

Not convinced its starting as well as it should, but fuel was low.  Tomorrow morning will be the test.

So, tomorrow, see if the bugger starts, then if it does, give it a ragging.

Apparently diesel engines need the fuel to go in the engine, not on the engine.

It's not too bad IIRC, the tensioner is a bit stronger than a V6 one though! Not sure what access is like on a FWD application.... Always worth checking the crank pulley as it's a harmonic damper type... as you don't want this to happen:-



They start with a few minor cracks... then....! LOL
