I might be off track here, Rods2, but nowadays, because telly can be watched through a computer, do they count that as a receiver !!

I think you only need a license if the equipment is able to show 'live' tv. Watching recorded programmes you dont. IIRC

Any piece of equipment that can download BBC iplayer enables you to watch live tv. Simply stating that you don't watch it, even though you could, shouldn't be a good enough reason to get away with paying the license fee.
Not that I'm saying the fee is justified.

I hope your motorhome, caravan and motorcycle insurances are all valid and up-to-date?

Now we have to work out who owns any of those three things, so we know who the licence dodger is referring to. 

You don't have to own or use them, just use your crime definition as you might be tempted to and therefore should have insurance.

I'd have to have access to them first, which I haven't

This will be due to third third rate script writers and fifth rate actors.

I know......but the tentative link to 'watching corrie' was enough for me to alter the direction of the discussion.. Something that happens on a regular basis here at OOF. A post may start out discussing the price of fish and end up with a list of girls with a fishy fanny.

Sorry I'm a bit late to this, but unlike all you old codgers I've better things to do today than discuss the price of fish.   

I will offer my opinions on Lady Gardens though.    The bare look feels a bit pervy and the full bush can make things difficult, I prefer a little 'landing strip' or 'garden path' to show me the way to the little man in his canoe!

Well...I personally prefer the totally smooth look and a hairy arse crack  is a big no no.
