elite battery dies suddenly
« on: 06 February 2011, 16:34:01 »

hey everyone, i need some help, from time to time my omega elite 3.0L V6 just has a dead battery, i went to start it up the other day and nothing would go on, not even an interior light, so i put it on a slow charge for 3 days now, and still nothing, just wondering if this is a common problem?

IMHO 3 possibilities ...

Battery FUBAR ... charge it off the car and see if it holds a charge

Check this thread

Alternator FUBAR ... check this thread

Battery terminal crimps .... these are known to fail/cause problems .. if the battery is not properly connected it can't work. Check they are not loose and don't heat up whilst in use.
