should have come to you then rob  all of mine have been right pigs 

unless of course you are taking everything apart and pushing from behind

I take it you're entering the code in the right manner, ie not by using the numbered buttons at face value?
Just a thought, easy mistake to make tho I appreciate you have researched the site .......

Agreed, no problems getting it out, and back in..... With facelift, got a bugger of a problem with pre facelift radio/cassette often stops working, take out and a fiddle put back in and it works, done this several times, this time can I get it back in fully, no way, sticks out about a quater of an inch, tried and tried but can not push it back in fully, working though....
