Used to love Len being totally politically incorrect when talking about English versus non English food - " foreign muck "   ;D

Had to go back this morning for a follow up , appointment was for 10.00 , got called in at 09.50 , another consultant gave it the once over , gave it the all clear ( apart from telling me that the ligaments are damaged  :( ) told to come back in 4 weeks , even managed to score for the 30 minutes free car parking ! the buggers should go on strike more often  :y

Managed to take a tumble and dislocate my little finger ( don't laugh , it hurt more than it sounds ) hearing all the horror stories about chaos etc in the Hospitals I went to my local walk in centre , I managed to be seen eventually , nice nurse prodded and looked concerned and got me X rayed  , diagnosis was dislocation ,not to my Suprise I must admit , "we don't reset them here , you'll have to go to the big hospital  ( RVI Newcastle ) we'll let them know you're coming so you should be seen pretty quick " that didn't fill me with confidence , but low and behold , turned up and sat for a few minutes and my name was called , a very professional gentleman introduced himself as the Consultant plastic surgeon no less , gave me a couple of injections in my finger to numb it , manipulated the finger back into position with a satisfying click , got me X rayed just to make sure it was OK ,even made a follow up appointment just to make sure it's all good , fantastic service from the Hospital   :)

What's strange is that the BBC aren't doing a daily death toll as they did for Covid, even though similar numbers are dying unexpectedly....  ::)
Maybe the people dying are mainly white ? if it was persons of colour expect a very different reaction  ;)

Lovely wee dog there STEMO! But why the cage?? Looks contented though!
I miss my rescue dog big time which I acquired on the streets of Alcudia in Mallorca.
Varche will vouch for me the awful treatment that dogs receive over there.
Very upset when he had to be put down with a kidney problem. Dont know how old he was but I reckon on 12 years old.
Everybody knew him in the town (all the bars!) and he did not have a bad bone in his body after the bad time he had endured.  :'( :'(
The crate is for his own protection. If I have to pop out for 10 minutes or so, which is all I can do for now, I know he is safe until I get back. 8 week old puppies can find their way into trouble very easily. Besides, he quite likes it. If he realises early on it's a safe place, he will head for it when he is stressed, frightened or simply knackered.
Ours used to love going behind the TV and chewing on the cables ! we had to stop that pretty quickly  ;D

Shame you don't have to go to the classroom anymore as I quite enjoyed my Speed Awareness Course.

There was an amusing know it all dickhead who kept chuntering away about the injustice of it all, some interesting characters to chat to over coffee, and an attractive blonde with nice tits to distract me.  :)

Although I could have done without it of course, it was a nice day out!  ;D
The guy on my course kept saying how he could speed because his van had "Turbo Brakes"  :o
