I've never seen that black plastic :-\ cam cover cover before
Is it a late C20NE engine :-\
aftermarket sunroof :-\ (2 hinges at the front ,or brackets for a wind deflector )
I think the photos have been taken quite strategically to not show rust areas ::)
-
Yes
Yes
No under rear wiper rust, rear arches look good.
-
No rust apart from the sills and middle of the tailgate panel...
-
It's a 90s Vauxhall , so suspect rust area between the front and rear reg plates :P
-
It's dented on lip under the rear number plate but no rust you blind ficker.
All cars have rust, just saying the available pics show it's good in some of the usual omega weak spots including the door tops.
Early models are less prone compared to mini and face-lift.

Yes...but why on earth would anyone want to own it? For the rarity/novelty value?

good enough eyesight to check the MOT history ::)
I was joking ,BUT omegas DO rust on the metal sections between the front number plate and the rear number plate (the shell)

it's an estate
very easy to work on engine
has all 3 pedals :D
-
Three incredibly good reasons ;)

Well, that's as good a reason as the other three ;D

the 2.5 is as flat as a witch's tit, the 2.0 16v and 2.2 even flatter. Can you imagine an 8v :o
-
Actually, I think I have driven one, many many moons ago. I think the car is a bit heavy for it, as although the engine seemed torquey, it never made progress.
-
I find the 2.2 estate in auto form to be an exercise in Zen-like patience. A 2.0 must be like purgatory. :-\
-
My old 95 2.0 16 valve was plenty fast enough for an old duffer like me, as was my Desmond. :D Both now sadly dead. :'(
-
I found the 2.2 manual a relaxing drive as you were never going to win a races, so never bothered trying. ;D
The 3.2 on the other hand, can at least keep up a challenge. :)

I vaguely remember trying your 2.2 against a TVR (? or similar, too long ago), possibly the day we picked up the LPG heap?
I remember losing, but one has to have what are now called stretch targets ;)

Only way it would have won that one is if the TVR broke down. ;D
.. so at least you had a fighting chance. :D

Sometimes its a fair fight, as although a fair few around these parts* have quick cars, most seem to drive them like pussys.
*not necessarily residents, but there is often some nice exotic stuff hanging around Silverstone, driven by people with zero talent.
