https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris,_Texas

It's a nice enough town with a bit of history and pride in itself :y not a million miles from Dallas  and the countryside on the drive up there was something that you don't really see in the UK. About 630 miles round trip.

I primarily went to see the Eifel Tower which is set in a park between the civic centre and a very tasteful memorial with a Cobra gunship as its centrepiece. My ex is French so was kinda cool to say that I had been to Paris without her >:D

Wasn't there too long as the day was long enough already... Side effect of going by myself meant doing all the driving  ;D

One totally random and unexpected thing though, which actually made my week... Does anyone remember the TV series The Highwayman about a bloke who drove a truck that turned into a helicopter... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Highwayman_(TV_series)

By total chance, I saw that very truck parked Infront of a house just off a country road 8)

Yet another puncture. Is that 3 or 4 so far this year?  Not including the pothole that wrecked a tyre and wheel.

You don't half have some bad luck with that pussy of yours. I've had 2 punctures in the last year and I feel fairly hard done to!

Oh, the wheel and tyre bad luck doesn't end there.  Looks like I might also now have a sensor fault in one of the wheels as well.  FFS.

Drove it back from Tenby. We took her car as her cruise control goes down to 15mph (very handy in Wales  ::) ), whereas mine bottoms out at 20mph. Most of the journey was on the M4 but there are quite a few 40mph/50mph average speed monitoring sections so I had to behave.  :)  Her TFSI petrol is a punchy engine and can shift when prodded. Economy is very good for a petrol engine as well.  :y
