Wow, a whole pound difference. :o. The supposed cheap one is/was/ actually more originally,  :D

To be honest, when I got mine, I don't remember seeing the other kind, and certainly not for an extra quid, or I'd have had it. I'm not that tight!

I've never owned, or felt the need to own, a puller.  Even tough ones eventually give in to gentle wiggling of the hinge area within a couple of minutes...

If the ball joints in the mechanism fall apart, you should replace it. But a Signum only justifies the bodger's spring clips that tighten them enough to use the car.


Actually I do own a puller for this, but it's easier not to use it.

there are pullers

and there are cheapo pullers like mine that bend

I ordered the top one last night. Fingers crossed.

I just bought one as well - £7.30 from ebay  :y

Mine cost £8.54 from Amazon with no delivery charge.

Ordered 9PM yesterday......arrived 1PM today.

Looks sturdy enough. ::)
