Really wanted to get the damn tappets sorted on project lpg this weekend, but got no locking kit  

I can strip down and fix/replace the tappets without it, but need it to put it all back together again.

Hummmm i thought about you but thought you did not have one..... i am tempted to make the trek.

But could we get it done in a day? - Strip down to the tappets, manually clean each one, replace dude ones (got spare ones thanks to MrDTM)

Then re-assemble?

To strip, you dont need the kit  :-/

Take it to 60 degree btdc (I think!), remove belt (watch fingers!)

Only need kit to reassemble.

Taking the belt off is my main concern.... i will need assitance for that.
