indicator stalk

hi ,failed mot today on various issues,but one is full beam keeps coming on,when headlights are on,so need to fit a new stalk,can anyone tell me is it a steering wheel off job? kind regards

One screw @ 9 o/clock and other @ 3 o/clock behind steering wheel under screwcaps, 3 screws under bottom steering wheel cowling, rest is self-evident once cowling removed

No need to remove the wheel, just the cowl around the column behind the wheel. Two self tappers facing you as look at the wheel, but you need to turn the wheel 90degs each way to get at them & one/a couple underneath. The stalk is removed by squeesing in a tab either side , then it slides out away from the column.  :y :y

thats great folks thanks for your help gurus! only one more thing please,the omega spares guy at heathrow has one with cruise same as mine hes saying four  pins on back,will this fit my 1997 miggy please  does anyone know so i dont buy the wrong one thanks.

Cruise with four wires will fit assuming you have a petrol.
