Aerial - rear window
« on: 05 June 2011, 18:40:43 »

Dear friends

The aerial, that comes out of the radio goes directly to the aerial amplifier behind the rear seat cushion.

But there's another coaxial cable, that comes from the top of rear window(attached to the rear window heater),but as it was cut, I just don't know where it should go to.

attached to the rear window heater
first question is have you an aerial on top of car??
because my understanding is that the window heater elements are the aerial so if you havent a external aerial then the coax you say has been cut should go to the aerial booster/amp :y

My elite has 3 coax's

1 aerial from rear window via booster for FM
2 GPS antenna on roof
3 GSM from (same) antenna on roof

Not sure about the MV6

Finalyy I realised it's not connected to the heating elements.
It's a square something with a coaxial output, look :
