Changed the oil in hers. Being a diesel chain driven engine, I start to get twitchy once its done more than 4k on the oil.
620ti was the fastest of the bunch and would still be considered fast now.Only rover I ever had was a 623SLi, 2.3 litre Honda engine. It was great and pulled like a train from very low revs. It looked great in pewter. Think I traded it for the MGZT+.
I had a 620ti in Knightfire Red and its replacement was a British Racing Green 620ti. It was a quick car in its day.
Got one on the Jag, feel spoiled when I use it they’re great 👍
You're a long way from home henryd
I'll be down bothering you in a weeks time, looking forward to it
Wonder why they didn't make the Maxi as a hatchback/estate type car?
Maxis were hatchbacks. Are you thinking of the Princess, which looked like one but wasn't?
Yes you're probably right, or it might have been a Land Crab. A big scruffy old BL anyway.
Showing 7.1v when I put it back on charge.
Her new car needs pig piss to save the planet. Seems a simple enough system and I have ordered 5lts and a filling hose from ECP. Any tips or do's/dont's. How often should I need to top it up and how much will it use?
Warnings may flash up in the car, but she'll just dismiss them and probably not mention them to me.
The handle on our pressure washer is held in place with two bolts which, I now know are threaded straight into part of the plastic chassis of the washer.
I picked it up yesterday and was left holding only the handle as the bolts have stripped the plastic from the inside of their threaded holes.
I was going to araldite them back in but thought I would consult the collective "intelligence" of the OOF for a potentially better solution. I've seen that two part steel stuff at the motorfactors (no idea what its called), but any advice is welcome.
Thanks all
Hickman upped the lap record today to 136.358mph !
Torque converter slush box for me every time
Admittedly it was a while back now, but SWMBO was given a DSG Passat as a courtesy car that I ended up using, I never liked the slow speed engagement while parking etc though I believe there is now a certain amount of 'creep' built into them
