Lancaster fly past

Just outside trying to sort out my windscreen wipers when a Lancaster from the Southport air show flew directly over at about 150 feet, what a sight, spectacular !!!  :y :y :y

Such a beautiful & stunning aircraft, saw it along with a pair of Spitfires at the Bournemath Air show a few years go.

Got to love those Merlin engines  :-*

Just an hour ago a  spitfire passed over plus two stunt prop driven planes and a jet that I did not recognise It's like having my own personal air show  :)

Spitfire flew over the house about an hour ago. Heading in a Farnborough direction ish.

Fantastic site the Lancaster. Awesome noise.

i saw the bbmf at conningsby a few weeks ago i got to see all of the war birds up close and personal...wish i could of got into the lancaster though.... :)

Saw a massive plane fly over Heinz today ..... 2 o'clock-ish ..... had a small plane at either wing tip. No idea what they were, but what ever they were, they seemed to be doing about 20mph - 25mph tops!  ::) ::) ::) No idea how they were staying up in the air, they were going that slow!  ;D ;D ;D

Saw the Lanc and Spits at the Sywell Airshow last month. When the lanc came over i actually fekt really emotional. theyres something about that plane!
