Rolf, it's 18 degrees, wet and windy here in the South West of England and I'm cold! :(
Not used to this! :o But maybe my garden desert will be thankful. :y

Mrs Builder just insisted we walk :o down to Sainsburys for stuff we don't even need, when we have an astra and Omega parked outside ::)
whilst hiking back up the hill (some 0.6 miles ) it rained for the first time in weeks .
now we are home, it has stopped
house aircon still on due to my body overheating, reminiscent of carlton in traffic ;D

Yes my house aircon is still on as well. :)
Largely because I can't be arsed to go round and close the windows turn it off in the room zones. ::) ;D

Air con? You posh fellow. Havent used ours for four years including last years 44 deg C.
Is that to keep your silks, briefs and wig serviceable?

oh ! retro air con that does not use 3 gigawatt of electric , has no condenser that needs blowing out and fans replaced.
so you have to open and close windows rather than hunting for the remote , or get up and press buttons :P

Yes and it works very well in the blustery conditions that we have today! :y
Not so well when it's 30°+ and still though. :-\

Well, you won't need to water the garden on Tuesday :D

Doc Gollum
Most forecasts have a problem with thunderstorms in my area. If thunderstorms are progged, there will be thunderstorms. You can see them. They are over the Voges in the west and over the Blackforest in the east.
Lahr is right in between and will stay dry....

Its like a drizzly autumn day here today - Lovely. ;D
-
I'm missing the lovely hot weather! :'(
Maybe I'll emigrate. Western Australia has a cracking climate! :y

Rolf
My astra showed exactly that last week. What did it say once you started driving, Rolf? ;D
-
16.3 km/l :D
-
the picture was taken in my garage yard round the corner of my house. It is an extremely hot place on summer afternoons. The display dropped down to 35°C after a few miles driving. That was exactly the temperature official measured at Lahr airport at the same time.

@ Doc Gollum
My Omega runs with 12,5 l/100 km using it in stop and go city traffic.
On long ride conditions with constant speed around 130 km/h the old lady takes 7 l/100 km/h. Enough to cross Germany south to the North Sea with one tank.
-
39,4°C!
Official measured in Bernburg/ Saale southwest of Berlin.
Here deep down southwest 35°C again.

Yes. We have had it nice during July. Daytime heat I can cope with (39 today). It is the nighttime that wears you down. Anything over bedroom temp of 25 C is not nice. Just checked a minute ago. 23.6 inside 28 outside at 11.30. Saturday is the highest forecast with 40 and a min overnight of 22 (that is usually about 7 in the morning). We had 44 daytime temp last year during a mini heatwave. That was most unpleasant :o :o
On the plus side it is our village fiesta this weekend. Evenings start at 11 and go on till the early hours. :y Sardines on the Sunday, giant paella on the Saturday.

Very sultry indeed lol
