She just needed a new headlight bulb fitted. Apparently the old one was 'not bright enough' to pass.

They only charged an extra £5, so I left a £10 tip.

All good until 22nd September 2023.

According to the invoice, the bulb 499/477 H7 12V -55 W is costed as £14.95. It appears they have reduced the cost of the MOT by £10 so it only cost me a fiver.

Anyway.....for just a few coppers short of £60 (including the tip) I'm happy.

It is certainly no oil painting and putting 250 BHP through the front wheels can cause problems, but it is still the best car I have owned.

It is certainly no oil painting and putting 250 BHP through the front wheels can cause problems, but it is still the best car I have owned.

Many people probably wonder why I drive a 19 year old Omega
I quite often get comments in car parks ,petrol stations (i stop petrol stations a lot      ) ,from people who remember the Omega quite fondly
