i was parked up today when the car in front reversed a good 3mtrs straight into my front bumper. bumpers well & truly fubbered, twice now within 4 months. the last time it was the crash bar & a mounting + bonnet. bonnet ok this time. luckily the last time when I removed the bumper it actually sprung back into shape & is re-useable & I have both mountings that hold the bar behind the bumper. so just may have to locate a crash bar :'(

Used to be a reasonable price from VX... worth an ask :y
-
Do some folk just not look behind? Could have been a person :-\
-
That is both unlucky and maddening!
Hope you get it all sorted soon :y

I hope his ears are still ringing. >:( :y

there used to be lots of the reinforcing bars on ebay but I can only see the one & the seller states its off a 99 model so not suitable for an 02. so it may be a heavy hammer job

He didn't mention the gender of the driver, which is worrying as I must admit, as a female so I can, that this type of "accident" is often a female one.
Like my late mum who once mistook the accelerator pedal for her brake on an automatic and ended up flying through the air, backwards after hitting a ramp, and writing off 4 cars on a garage forecourt! She never drove again after that :P :P

Are we still allowed to call them Male and female drivers? shouldn't Driver Person or people be more appropriate.
Heard earlier this week, theyre trying to ban the word "Pregnant Women" in favor of Pregnant Person. ::)

Yes they're trying to stop the use of women when referring to both those who are pregnant and also those who are already mothers as it "may hurt" the transgender folks. It is all just getting sillier and sillier!
-
Up until the time when men can get pregnant, I will continue with the term "pregnant women" and f*ck the PC brigade.
TB, line these silly people up against the wall and deal with them, please! :y
