Taxed the Grey Dart. Eventually. Then lost most of my pent up aggression driving the Silver Bullet home.  Guessing the rear tyres might have taken a hit  :'(

Finally finished stripping Blackie the breaker (apart from the wheels) and tidied the shed and driveway as much as is possible with too much stuff cluttering everywhere.

Nothing to the car(s) aside from squeeze them through improbably small gaps (thanks to all the people who park builders vans in my street) and park them back on the drive after a fortnight of having various builders parked on my drive working on my own house..

Oh and had this put up today:

Now I just have to get the remainder of the pit dug out (the big hole on the left) and liner concreted in, board the garage out with OSB2 (or maybe 3, not entirely sure) and get the place wired for electrics by a qualified electrician..

Cheers Albs :) Lots of work yet to do before it's ready for the project.. but it's getting there!

I've had mine for.. 11 years now, although it's not turned a wheel in anger in 8! Sadly it seems to have suffered a mishap while parked up outside; the front bumper is now slightly mangled around where one of the headlight washers 'was' (because it's not there anymore) :( Here's hoping I can get the bumper off without shearing the mountings off the front wings  :-/

C'mon, get it going! I'd love to see a few pictures of this back in action - the new garage can be your motivation  :)

The idea is to get the ZX MOT'd and back on the road this/next month, then strip & sell the MR2 to fund the next project while the ZX is my interim fun car again :y

Hopefully just the MOT now :) Finally got the front end of the engine rebuilt a few weeks ago.. the only thing I don't know is whether it'll pass emissions after such a long time stood and whether any chassis rot has set in (hopefully not, it was garaged the whole time).. Sadly if there's any rot it won't be worth fixing :(
