Just noticed that the most members online broke the half century mark today.

Any bets on when we'll reach the century!?!

Well Done on The New Look OOF - Very Nice and Clean Cut!

May have been discussed before, but is it poss. to have a brief "snippet" of the subject post by moving your cursor over the subject line (i.e. a small pop up box?)

Thanks for making the best site even better!!

So sorry to hear of your experience and wishing you a speedy recovery.

If there is any justice in the world, the culprits will get what they deserve. Suggest calling dvla and tell them what happened. They can advise you then.

I think you're right. Anyone who could beat Ivan Drago has to be the G.O.A.T.

I say Ali. He fought beat harder hitters than Tyson (Foreman/Shavers) and unlike many of Tyson's opponents would not be scared. Remember what Buster Douglas and Holyfield did. Also remember Ali was unable to fight in what were his "prime years" also and was boxing at the highest level for longer than Tyson. I reckon a peak Larry Holmes would also have taken Tyson

Mentioned often, but still very mysterious to me. I presume other newbies are equally as curious!  ::)

How does it work?

Do you have to join Autobahnstormers (who do seem nice people, but not very well represented in Birmingham) or can you get a card another way?

Does anyone near Birmingham have a card?

Benefits seem to be cheap Vauxhall spares. But how does that work if you use their labour?
Do you just walk up to the counter and order away or do you have to phone it in first?

Also, cheap from Vauxhall doesn't always mean cheap. I have a trade card (through a friend) for Fletchers of Birmingham (prev Oscotts wholesalers) and it's very handy to pay 21p for a tail lamp rather than the retail couple of quid!

Any concise info would be of mucho benefit!  :)

You can join abs or set up a business account (more tricky i have read)
Doubt you get discount on labour
Just walk up to the counter - and show them your card to get discount (at participating stores only - see tradeclub.co.uk)

My TC took 3 days to come from abs

General Discussion Area / Re: Ok so what fuel do you use and why

My friend works for BP and assures me that the best standard unleaded is either BP or Shell. Fuel supplied to supermarkets are not filtered as much and have more ethanol (chepaer) mixed in with them.

I have found that Shell gives me the smoothest ride (ditto for SWMBO's Corsa)
