Title: 206 clicking with no key !
Post by: omegod on 31 January 2015, 12:36:18
Sorry not a mig but: Father in law just rang and reports his 206 has cut out and there is a loud clicking noise from the underbonnet fusebox, even with the key removed????

Im guessing it's a relay but anyone heard of this before?

I'd be disconnecting the battery a bit quick smart, could be battery itself has died or maybe fusebox issue

There are quite a few things that are live even with the key out. Water ingress or a short circuit could be the cause. You don't say whether it's an old wreck or a well-maintained car. Either way, it needs to come to bits......cue Jon.... ;D

Battery has been disconnected and it will be coming apart today,I suspect the multi function/ fuel pump relay is knackered
