Title: Airbag light on
Post by: 05omegav6 on 28 March 2014, 20:29:44
This decided to come on today >:(

Checked and dfouble ckecked the seat plugs, nothing obviously amiss :-\

Guessing it needs a tech 2 session or similar to reset/code read to pin point the faulty circuit :-\

The  light would stay on though until cleared even if you fixed the fault  :(

The cause is likely one of two things...

A disturbed plug at the passenger seat...
Trying to start the car having forgotten that both large plugs in the passenger footwell were unplugged ::)

The embarrassing thing is I was trying on and off for twenty minutes before I twigged ;D

But then I did also try to change the cambelt with the car in gear :-X

If you were closer I'm sure I could turn the light off for you  ;)

But then I did also try to change the cambelt with the car in gear :-X
The clue was ..... you were trying to run yourself over. ...... if only you had a more appropriate gearbox  ;) ;)

Sometimes they go out (almost immediately) on their own, once fixed.

Don't suppose you get many fares to Brackley ;D

130 miles and still on ::)
Fair to say either the fault still exists, or is one of those pesky ones that needs clearing.

Curry however, is a totally different thing all together :y
