Noisy timing chain, rocker gasket leaks, gearbox and diff whine.

Crazed or cracked paint, evidence of blistering in the paint work (sign of osmosis and really not good), poorer panel alignment than you might reasonably expect from a hand built anything.

Electrics and evidence of water leaks.

So all in all, everything ::)

I was watching an old episode of Wheeler Dealers the other day and they bought a TVR for £8000, a Cerbera I think.  :-\

Anyway lovely looking car until they put up on the ramps and found that the chassis was totally rotten....  :o  They had to have a new chassis built by a TVR specialist which if I remember rightly was over £2500!  :o  ;D   So hope it's got a new MOT!  ;D
