,03 corsa bottom swivel bolts
« on: 28 July 2015, 18:05:13 »

Hi guys
changed drop links , track rods & bottom joints on swmbo's "new" 03  corsa.

Drilled out rivets on the bottom joints & replaced with bolt on joints .

Question is :  is it important which way the bolts go ?

nuts & washers underneath  & bolts down from the top  . .or vice versa     :-\ :-\

TIA   Al   :y

On other much older vehicles back in the 80s when you replaced lower ball joints in the arms...bolts in from the top and washers and nuts underneath was the way it was done.. :y

That is how I have done it . .  . seemed the logical way  . . .  but thought I would ask for others opinion  :-\

That's how I would do it. Then should the nut come loose (not going to but hey) the bolt doesn't drop out ;) :y
