Omega General Help / Headlight Adjustment

Hi all ,
My drivers side headlight aims a little low compared to the passenger side . The adjuster next to the light switch works and both beams go up and down the same , however i would like to raise the drivers side slightly so they are both the same .
Which of the manual adjusters raises the hight ?

Omega General Help / Paint Code Z594

Hi all ... got my new spoiler and i might have to try and paint it myself due to being told it would cost £175 + vat to have it done and fitted :-/...... i belive from the door pillar my paint code is Z594 XXGV 061 6852V .... do i need all these numbers or is it just the first set of 4 .... oh and what colour is it officially .... its a kind of burgandy colour

Omega General Help / Error Codes P1781 P0727

Hi all .... ive just got myself one of the RAC scanners ... now it has given me 2 pending codes ....P1781 engine torque signal unit ......and P0727 engine speed sensor circuit.....i have no warning lights on the dash ( and yes the bulb is there ).... are these anything to worry about or should i erase them .... oh and i got the same result with engine running aswell

Omega General Help / Gray MID Plug

How do i release the grey connector on the MID .... trying to replace my dash bulbs but i dont know how to release it ..... its gray with a black part on the outside of it ....i dont want to break anything :-/

Omega General Help / Coolant Colour

Ive recently had my water pump replaced then about 2 weeks later the HBV.... just had a look to check coolant level and was suprised to see the stuff in the expansion tank is clear :-?.... should it not be blue or green or orange

?? .... my reciept clearly says anti-freeze was added :-/

Omega General Help / Airflow and re-circulation

If i press the re-circulation button the airflow increases more than when its in " normal " mode .... could my pollen filter be blocked causing this or is this normal .... ive not had the car for long so i dont know when the pollen filter was last changed .....oh and the area below the filter was full of water , but not now ive cleared the drain

Hi all , my drivers side back window goes half way up then decides to go down again .... i can get it closed if i inch it up with the button but if i hold the button down it goes half way then down again ... can this be fixed without having to replace anything ?

Omega General Help / Coolant loss

My car flashed up Coolant Level yesterday so i topped it up and let it run for a while and seemed fine ..... but alas on my way to work today it flashed up again . The coolant was down slightly and there was a dripping from the back of the engine on drivers side but i cant see exactly where from ...... its behind the front wheel area when lying on the ground trying to find it if that helps but i cant get the car up high enough to get right under to pinpoint it .... only drips when running aswell...as soon as the car is turned off it stops ... i know that probaly sounds stupid but it may help point out something ....

Can anyone on here tell me which protocol for diagnostics my 2002 Omega petrol uses ... im toying with the idea of getting a code reader and want to be sure i get the right type.... ie would this one be ok ?....

Omega General Help / Genuine Vx Exhaust Price

Hi all ....
Can anyone give me an idea what i will pay if i stick my car in for cat back exhaust ? .... reading on here it sounds like i should have an original fitted cause they last and sound better .... my back box sounds awful and rattely once warmed up ....unfortunatly i dont have a trade card or really the tools etc to do the job myself :-/

Omega General Help / Stainless Steel Exhaust

Can anyone point me to the best place for a Cat Back Stainless System for my 2.2 CD .... im not looking for a noisey system , i prefer the more quiter refind drive but i want this system to last as i intend keeping the car for a long time as i think my back box is on its way out.... sounds like its rattling or possible baffles gone but i cant get anyone to confirm this .. garages ive been to say nothing wrong but it only does it after a few miles once its heated up and whilst being driven but not on the ramp in Qwik Fit etc.... preferably someone in the Scotland / Fife area.
