I'M confused now. Some people say 99% of time it's the ecu at fault and others say it's the metal block bit.

metal block is call ECU too :y

Ah right. To clarify then I need the metal block that has the brake pipes feeding in and also the black plastic bit that screws to the pump bit with 6 torx screws. The eBay sellers sell both bits as a complete unit but I was hoping to only have to replace the plastic bit as per the guide in here

Remember if you dont get one off exactly the same spec vehicle ( cc, man or auto etc ), you will need a tech 2 session to set it up right

Thanks guys got one ordered but pretty sure I'll need a tech 2 session. Any idea on how to find one in Newcastle that isn't a vauxhall dealer
