Just got back from Torquay via Tewkesbury and then Daventry, just over 650 miles and the Desmond didn,t
miss a beat. Was the first real long trip in this car so was a wee bit apprehensive but all went great. As said,
was well chuffed.

Wife rarely drives now but today went to visit her sister. Back a few mins. later, no drive in auto box, so i got in, shoved
it in drive and drove down street fine. It appears that she put it in N and just rolled down street revving as she went.
Oh how we laughed.

Due to lack of mobility don,t get under car usually but had quick look today and was suprised  to see two pipes
on a 4pot. Am i seeing things?

Omega General Help / Coolant loss

I seem to have a slight leak, as level in expansion bottle slowly goes down, no water under car but there is coolant
spray on oil filter and on plastic under tray as well. As said it,s a very slow loss and doesn,t need much fluid to top up.
Any thoughts please.

 ... when i was walking through Sainsbury.s car park today and noticed a number of cars no. plates obscured by mud etc,
and wondered how the cameras are going to pick these up when the licence disc is phased out later this year.
Any thoughts on this?

...Comet of the Century was on BBC2 last night, just watched all the prog on iplayer and was very interesting.
If the comet, called ISON survives its trip through the Suns corona it should be quite a spectacular sight in
the eastern pre-dawn sky from December 3rd. I suppose we will have to wait and see.

Celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary yesterday. They still live in their own bungalow and do all their own chores,
such as cleaning, cooking, washing etc. Both well into their nineties. God, my old mum deserves a medal.

Previous owner of my car had a small dog. I have at last got rid of the little white hairs that were everywhere
so now need to get rid of smell, any ideas please. Have posted this on here as it must be a general car problem
and not just a Miggy one.

Omega General Help / Remote locking

Locking, locks rear doors and pass. door then they unlock straight away. Unlocking, it unlocks all except drivers
door , for which i have to use key in lock. All doors lock/ unlock with key manually in lock. Have tried to
re-synchronize as per the owners manual but nothing happens. Had power sounder disconnected yesterday but
i presume this is coincidence? as i had same prob a few weeks ago but it sorted itself almost immediately.
Any suggestions folks?
