Title: My Mint Omega MV6 68k full vaux service history
Post by: Christian on 17 June 2009, 19:17:03
Is up for Grabs, Recent Cambelt kit change and camcover gaskets with breathers unblocked, also spark plugs and oil changed. (by Loo-Knee)

Car is immaculate aprt from a very slight dink on bonnet which to be honest is not noticable, been quoted 50 quid to do it!

Wheels is mint condition apart from usual Laquer peeling only on passenger side.

Im looking for £1500 for her no offers , its taxed until NOV also MOT'D until NOV.

not my favourite colour, however thats a bloody clean car for its year. well worth the 1500.  even more of a bargain if you accept less. but i would hold out for it, ones that clean are hard to come by!

If yours is an Auto, don't suppose you'd be interested in swapping for a Facelift 2.2 CD Auto Saloon would you ?.

Well, don't ask don't get !.  ;)

K&N Panel Filter
Grill.
Side repeater's
Hammerite Paint ( Brakes)

Written in Book it had Supaguard Paint sealent put on (garenteed 3 years)

Theres also very few paint chips on bumper bonnet becuase it dont go far apart from a Motor way run once a wee for 15 miles.

If anybody did want this as a Show Car all it would require is the Passenger side wheel refurbed and the small dent on very front of bonnet.

Reg or year please Christian. I'm in Whitchurch and may have an interest in it after Weds. You would have to come lower though I'm sorry. Any tax or ticket?

Doh! Sorry, missed the tax & MOT bit.  :-[

Just one question...I sold my 2.2 CD auto last year for £1300. It was immaculate with 17" MV6 rims but was the facelifted V plate. How come this is on a 'W'? Anyone any ideas as I've never seen a mini face lift later than a V?

I just know its a late 2000 ive seen a couple on W plates.

Let me just add.

This car is in very very good condition, not evan run in yet with the mileage .

This is NOT the usual high mileage 900 quid car at all.

I am the Second owner as log book states  DOR is 25/4/2000.

Has every single stamp from the same dealer exept when Loo Knee did belt work because i had forgotton my book!

I have its last 2 MOT's .

I rang up Vauxhall and asked them what Under Warranty repairs it had had , in 2003 it had a new coil pack because the scuttle panel had cracked and allowed water inside along with another belt kit.

The first job i had dome was the Belt kit and other bits mensioned as soon as i had it and has been totally faultless since.

Not alot of work history exept Services due to low mileage!

The car is how the Pics state and what i have said!

Honestly mate, keep holding out for the right price. You've kind of shown your hand too early, by dropping to 1300, anyone will be expecting 'few quid more' off, now, because people are cheeky like that. (Well, I am!)

She's a stunning car, and well worth the original price. Everyone knows it's worth it. You will get your price. Be strong!!

Gorgeous

Pardon my ignorance, but are all MV6 3 litres?
If not what CC is this one, please?

Pre-facelift only 3.0 then the facelift came along with 3.0 first, then 2.6 and 3.2. I think? Stand to be corrected.

Post by: Christian on 29 June 2009, 09:42:26
Yes this one is 3.0, and thanks for the kind words so far on its condition.

Will not drop a penny lower than 1300 at all  :)

i had to drop it to 1200 because during a run with the buyer the bloody eml came on, only ever seen it flicker once and that was on the way home from when i bought it, becuase it had not driven for 6 months due to being in a compound!

Hey Chris,
Just to let you know, since the light hasn't come up since that time when we were test driving. I was honestly expecting a problem to arise but the car has been performing really well(maybe the 150mile drive @ 100mph helped!).
