I know there will be a few on here upset by this turn of events. Never mind, eh?
Please play nicely. No one wants to listen/read a keyboard warriors rants....
Mohammed and his mates will soon turn that nice hotel into a pot hole.Omega was £415 to tax so that's gone up £20
Still .... at least the council will have that cash to fix all the bloody pot holes
car insurance renewal £100 too much (compared to other sites) so I'll have to waste my time arguing them down again
C'mon Dave you know that's not how it works.
Your twenty quid is more likely to go towards Mohammed's nice hotel than a pothole.
I guess you could have done without that, Andy. Life can be a pain in the arse sometimes, keep your pecker up mate.Fair point. Finally got around to agreeing to have the meters replaced. Both gas and electricity were over 20 years old so 10+ years overdue.....
Waited all afternoon on Monday - no show.
Rescheduled for this morning - British Gas installer arrived and got on with swapping the meters.
Electrical meter swapped first and left to establish communications while the gas meter was swapped.
Gas meter swapped. Waited. Waited a bit longer.
I now have two shiny new dumb meters
To be fair, Auckland is a fair way for the British Gas installer to go between jobs.
We have smart meters in Auckland - they 'just work'. Probably because they have a good mobile signal.
I am back in Cornwall for a while - trying to clear up the chaos caused by people we trusted.
Each day I discover so many new things to piss me off that I have chosen not to share as I don't have the time
"rear wash wipe" is not part of the MOT ,so may well not get tested at all ,
reversing lights on a pre 1 September 2009 are not a fail ,but may get an advisory ,similar to the spare tyre .
I guess it's down to the NT on the day ,he/she/them could miss such items whilst desperately trying to find something that is a fail/money making opportunity ,Kerching £$£$£
Indicators on a BMW are tested , even though the BMW driver may never* use them
*Except when parked on double yellow lines , zigzags outside a school
I don't have any problem when choosing who to vote for, because my vote will make no difference in BarnsleyI kind of hope your right, as I dread Starmer and co having a big majority when they win.
Not sure who to vote for come the election.
Starmer is terminally dull and uninspiring while our nipple high PM also leaves me cold.
Neither will get my vote.
Does the Ecoboom last long enough to actually require a new belt?Or just avoiding the ecoboom in the first place.
Any mileage in retrofitting a 1.0 pinto in it's place
If you were really old school, you'd park it over a drain in the street and let it run down there....
Changing the oil+filter is interesting, if car isn't high enough you can't drop undertray flap down enough, .....
you need a Pela oil-sucker-outerer
I'm of the old skool,, undo sump plug, and make a mess on the floor as the tray is positioned wrong,
Apparently, you were bad for her heartTalking of which, Outraged from Ashford has been very quiet of lateI'm sure our very own Lizzie Zoom called me a Nazi not that long agoDon't think so
National Conservatism Conference: Police told to shut down right-wing Brussels event https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-68826577
You don't need to be very right wing to be considered a right wing Nazi in 2024.
