General Discussion Area / Opinions and advise please
« on: 09 January 2018, 19:12:15 »
Hi all looking at the possibility of buying an Insignia Elite nav either the 163 hp turbo or the 193 hp bi turbo Elite nav quite fancy the bi turbo  but have been told by a car tuner the the parts for the engine ie injectors are a lot more expensive to replace The reason I am looking at Insignias is the same reason that I was attracted to  my Omega elite second hand "you get a lot of bang for your bucks" plus well impressed with the build of the Omega Any input will be greatly appreciated
Regards
Tony

All ships leak, taking into account the size of the vessel the amount of water ingress is to forgive the pun is" a drop in the ocean". Stern gland leaks are a common problem that can happen a lot with ships the trick is is you have a bad one "don't stop!!!"  ;D

When at school many years ago we had a science teacher who you could tell was "on the edge" when he felt his class was being disrupted his face would go red he would grit his teeth, shake and then hurl a half kilo weight with some force from his balance scales that sat on his desk towards the perpetrator of the class disruption :o, it was thought amusing by the class and the time but with hind site and age if had hit someone on the head the results could have been fatal I believe shortly after I left school he had a  breakdown and retired from teaching

He was the curse of British Leyland and the government of the day.

Along with the management at Longbridge, he contributed heavily to the failure of that part of the British motor industry >:(

Agreed he would call a strike even if the management changed the colour of the toilet paper without consulting the union and would demand a workers vote on the change bog roll colour  >:(

Yesterday saw the last car roll off the Holden line in Australia as the plant is due for closure. A sad day for the workers and the lovers of "muscle cars"  :'(

Don't bother pre soaking lasagne sheets even if they are the pre soak ones after 35 years in the catering trade and cooking thousands of portions of lasagne I find that the pasta absorbs enough moisture  from the sauce's to cook it to perfection :y
