I looked at that the first time round, but the elements are curved ever so slighty too so it put me off doing it, (ocd) like my things all straight and symmetrical haha  ;D

Might have a go at that tomorow. Is it best at the top, or bottom of the window?

On my Estate, I put a medium sticker at the top of the rear window and the brake light illuminates it at night. A bit of night time advertising for OOF.  :y

I've designed a decal to fit under the rear window wiper (yes, you guessed it, there was a blister appearing at that spot due to a water-trap). I cleaned it up and filled in the pitted metal but instead of going to the hassle of repainting it, for now I've decided (as a temporary measure) to cover it with some vinyl (plan to paint it next year when it's warmer).

Anyway, here's a mock-up as I've not yet picked up the vinyl from the signmaker....who coincidently is my mate of 20 years (we're both in the Graphics trade....it's what you know and who you know  ;) ;) )

Also designed this VODC one for the side screen (again, not picked up the vinyl yet so this is a mock-up) Having this one done in 'frosted' vinyl which gives an etched window effect.  :y

Hi MarkC, thats good that is but make sure your not in breach of forum guidelines regarding the OOF name and logo. Im pretty sure you will need permission to use the name and logo.

Have a word with the admins about making decals/stickers using the name and logo, but if all is ok with making them, i might be interested in what you come up with.

I started a thread about number plates with the web address in the footer, but i think ive decided not to go ahead with this as footer are apparently illegal and there is also the issue with using the forum name, logo and web address.

Ah, yes. Very good point Grain.Ben!!

Totally forgot to ask permission from the OOF moderators. Apologies if I have breached any copyright infringements. Genuinely overlooked that side of the issue.

I don't have any plans to distribute any work for any kind of profit, this was purely a way of solving a slight problem on my Omega with the use of decals.

I know the moderators on the VODC and planned to seek permission for the side window decal before I applied it.

Again, apologies to the powers that be. If my post needs to be removed then I understand.

Im sure that wont be necessary but you at least know. But like i said, make sure you have a word with the admins if you have any issues.

Nice decals though.

Regards, Ben.

Each to their own, mate. I prefer the subtle approach....that's why I only drive a 2.2  ;D (though truth be told, I'd love a V6 Elite  ;))

Nothing to be ashamed of Mark owning a Desmond and showing of your Oof sticker. Will proudly post mine up tomorrow weather permitting.  :y :y

I really must get one for the Estate. Although I can't decide where I would put it... Not sure I like any of the places it would have to be on the estate :-\ :-\
