I believe that there was also a company called Rats ... (something ?) in Norway who successfully put a V8 Lexus engine + turbo, and it was capable of 200mph, as they took it on the Nuremburg track.
Would love to be the owner of that one, imagine that youre behind a Bugatti veyron and they take off, and they cant figure out why an Omega is keeping up with them Priceless !!!!!.      

lol. but im sure the Veyron will hit 200 wayyyy before the Omega would, hence you wouldnt even be within 5 car lengths at that speed. seriously.
As it is my brother's Mitsu Galant Hits 184 m/ph and thats a 4 cyl turbo EVO motor.

HI i have been interested in this topic and know it was the 5.7 V8 lump used in the omega, is there any wiring diagrams for the install or would it be pocssible to replace the standard for a doner unit from a early monaro, thanks Kack

That V12 Carlton estate would be perfect without the blingy wheels.

Although I had to laugh at the comparison with the Veyron. It accelerates to 60mph about a second faster than gravity would get you if you jumped off a building, and goes from 130-180mph faster than most cars would go from 30-60.

Nothing will touch that.

Although if we get the guy who built this Capri to do some tinkering with the Carlton, maybe it has a chance.

Physically - yes.
Although the right hand header might foul the steering box without some fairly serious work.
